Heart Don’t Lie

Come on you know you wanna danceHomeMost RecentAuthorsTitlesCategoriesBrowseTop TensHelpLogin Heart Don't Lie by NautiBitz Summary: Buffy and Spike face the consequences of a 'wild' night together: a bundle of (possibly evil) joy! Much more than a "baby fic", this story is now COMPLETE and chock full o' freaky sex, fluffy bunnies, horny gods, catty brawls, cranky slayers, and the end of the 'verse as you know it! (This began in 2001 as the one-shot "A Bunny In The Oven". Winner of several awards including "Outstanding NC-17 Series" @ FMYA and "Best WIP" @ VKA.) Stay tuned for the sequel, At It Like Rabbits, coming soon!Rating: NC-17 [Reviews - 158] Category: General NC-17 FicsCharacters: NoneGenres: RomanceWarnings: Adult Language, Sexual SituationsChallenges: Series: Love Bunnies Saga aka 'The Bunnyverse'Chapters: 25 Completed: Yes Words: 92450 Reads: 44218Published: 10/02/2007 Updated: 10/31/20071. A Bunny In The Oven by NautiBitz [Reviews - 10] (3955 words)This began as an authorized sequel to Saber ShadowKitten's one-shot "Humping Like Bunnies." She said, "A Bunny In The Oven?" and I went from there. This first chapter you see was supposed to be the end of it, but then people wanted more, and a plot bunny (yes I said it) started hopping around in my brain... Timeline: An amorphous Season 4 AU where Spike is working with the Scoobs (unchipped), Buffy lives at home, Oz is still around and Giles still works at the high school library. Also, Anya has yet to return. Which is probably a good thing, considering she'd be really freaked out about now. See more info about this story here. All you need to know: In the previous story, Buffy and Spike were -- oops! -- transformed into rabbits by Willow. Humping naturally ensued. Here's the zany aftermath. 2. A Demon In The Sack by NautiBitz [Reviews - 3] (3242 words) 3. Quickening by NautiBitz [Reviews - 5] (3523 words) 4. Split Decision by NautiBitz [Reviews - 4] (4655 words) 5. Of Undead Bondage by NautiBitz [Reviews - 4] (3537 words) 6. All Or Nothing by NautiBitz [Reviews - 5] (3184 words) 7. Cryptic Massages by NautiBitz [Reviews - 5] (3174 words) 8. Good Cryptkeeping by NautiBitz [Reviews - 5] (3529 words)A/N: The song is '66' by The Afghan Whigs. Hear a sample of it here. 9. Maternal Instincts by NautiBitz [Reviews - 3] (3610 words) 10. Expecting The Unexpected by NautiBitz [Reviews - 3] (3777 words)The French translates to, respectively: "I speak French", "my little cream puff", "I'll teach you everything you need to know", and "Do you want to reach the seventh sky?" (which pretty much means 'I'm gonna make you come really hard'.) And yeah, I know that Spike being fluent in any language other than English is a bit of a character stretch, but I defy you to think it isn't hot. (ETA: pfeifferpack just pointed out that French could very well have been part of William's education. So, there you have it.) A/N the second: I had never actually seen Beaches when I wrote this; I just knew it was a guilty favorite of Buffy's because of her song choice in 'Something Blue'. I found out later that there's an entire scene involving a bunny costume. Har. 11. Craving and Caving by NautiBitz [Reviews - 4] (4127 words)This chapter is a personal favorite, as it allowed me to work the word "superjizz" into a sentence. 12. Hot Cross Bunnies by NautiBitz [Reviews - 3] (3593 words) 13. Pre-Natal Attraction by NautiBitz [Reviews - 8] (3730 words)WARNING: If you're squeamish about the pregnant physique and its uh... capabilities, you may want to gloss over this one. Although you'll be missing out on all the hot sex. 14. Slaying For Two by NautiBitz [Reviews - 7] (3941 words)Angelic Demons, Demonic Angels is not a real book. Neither is The Song of the Lilin, but it's loosely based on The Alphabet of Ben-Sira, understood to be medieval rabbinic satire, thus exposing the myth of Lilith as a crock. So I'm taking some major liberties. Also: If you were following this fic on my site a few years ago, this chapter should be NEW TO YOU. 15. Big Babies by NautiBitz [Reviews - 6] (4112 words)If you read the rough draft of this chapter elsewhere, please note that I made a substantial story revision here, in Angel's private talk with Buffy. (I had to give her more reason to doubt Spike's loyalty.) Also, the 'hacksaw' demon Angel mentions was the one responsible for Cordelia's overnight pregnancy in AtS. Don't blame me for the dumb name. 16. Fuzzy Details by NautiBitz [Reviews - 5] (4861 words) 17. A Chance In Sunnyhell by NautiBitz [Reviews - 6] (4097 words) 18. Who's Your Daddy? by NautiBitz [Reviews - 8] (4277 words) 19. Labor Pains by NautiBitz [Reviews - 11] (3869 words)Lots of little revisions in this one since its initial posting on my LJ. 20. Pitter Patter by NautiBitz [Reviews - 7] (3415 words) 21. Going Down by NautiBitz [Reviews - 7] (4134 words) 22. Open Hearts by NautiBitz [Reviews - 6] (4929 words) 23. Light of Day by NautiBitz [Reviews - 5] (2465 words) 24. Harts Content by NautiBitz [Reviews - 7] (2597 words) 25. Epilogue: Second Chances by NautiBitz [Reviews - 21] (2117 words)A lot of readers have expressed concern for the welfare of Clem. The official answer: even though he never appears in this story, I heart Clem too, and I always considered him spared in the cleansing. He's not evil enough to be one of Lamashtu's creations. (Also, it's kind of telling that there's an uproar about Clem, and yet no one gives a rat's ass that Dawn doesn't exist in this 'verse. Poor unloved Dawn. I guess it was all the whining.) Heart don’t lie

How should you take aspirin for a heart attack? You've always been healthy, but you seemed to run out of steam at your wife's 60th birthday dinner last week. And now your chest feels heavy, as if you're in a vise. You take some antacids, even though it's 7:00 a.m. and you haven't even had breakfast. But you get no relief, and the pain is spreading to your jaw and shoulder. You call your wife, who takes one look at you and rushes to the phone. After calling 911, she brings you an aspirin and some water.

The reason you need aspirin is the same reason you should call 911 without delay: A heart attack is a dynamic event, and early intervention can limit the damage. The paramedics can give you oxygen and medication, and they'll monitor your blood pressure and heart rhythm to forestall complications as they speed you to the ER. In the hospital, doctors will take EKGs and blood tests to see if you are having a heart attack; if so, they will usually try to open the blocked artery with an angioplasty and stent or, if that's not available, with a clot-busting drug.

It's modern cardiology at its best, and it has improved considerably the outlook for heart attack victims. But how can a humble aspirin tablet add to high-tech medicine, and why is speed so important?

Heart failure is manageable. To learn the mechanics of the heart, the symptoms and warning signs of heart failure, and, most of all, the keys to an effective treatment plan, buy the Harvard Special Health Report Heart Failure: Understanding the condition and optimizing treatment.

If we choose to hold back and withdraw our hearts from the opportunity of being rooted and planted in the rich soil of the Word, it will not produce what God desires for us to experience. We will instead find ourselves with fruit that is bitter from offense and unforgiveness. Our fruit will be discolored and distorted due to worry and doubt. It will not grow to its fullest potential in size due to weariness and stress resulting from doing things in our own strength versus drawing from the power and supply of God.

I purpose in my heart to live my life rooted and established in the soil of Godʻs Word. I will allow it to guide, direct, and settle every decision and opportunity that comes my way. And as a result, my life will produce excellent fruit for Godʻs glory!

Most of the time, heart attacks start slowly with just mild discomfort and pain, giving warning signs before they strike. If you experience any of the following symptoms, call 911 or ask someone to call 911 immediately.

If others are around, tell them to stay with you until emergency medical services (EMS) workers arrive. Calling 911 is usually the fastest way to get emergency care, as opposed to asking someone to drive you to a hospital in their car. EMS workers are trained to revive people experiencing heart attacks and can also transport you to the hospital for rapid care.

One type of treatment found online is called cough CPR. Some online sources claim that breathing deeply, and then coughing deeply, can raise your blood pressure for a second or two. Sources say this can deliver more blood to your brain. The claim also says that if your heart is beating normally, a deep cough may be able to set it back to normal. 2ff7e9595c
